3 nights of a special Matariki Light Path (26th, 27th and 28th June). Kaiapoi Lights will include performances and information about Matariki and the historical significance of the Kaiapoi area. There will be special lighting displays and projections that will turn the park and path into a beautiful wonderland for people of all ages to visit and enjoy! Each night Kaiapoi Lights will be open from 5pm til 7pm, and on Friday night you will be able to walk the short distance from Kaiapoi Lights to the Matariki Kaiapoi celebration in Norman Kirk park and see the fireworks at 7.30pm!

Refunds are only given in the case of the event being cancelled.

DO NOT bring dogs for the safety of others.
On Friday night you will be able to walk a short distance to the Matariki Kaiapoi celebration, where the fireworks will be launched at 7.30pm.
Corcoran Reserve is just past the Kaiapoi Coastguard building.
There is a lot of street parking available close to the event, including some disabled parks.
This is an alcohol and smoke free event. If you are inebriated you will not be permitted entry. Smokers will be asked to leave
